District 4

Suzanne Stark: District 4 Councilwoman

Hello Lynnview neighbors.  I was recently appointed as the District 4 Councilwoman for our city.  I am happy to serve our community and will work with our Mayor toward common goals that unify our residents, and make our city a better place to live.  I have been in Lynnview since 1976.

I have seen our community change throughout the years.  As with all changes some things will be good, and other things will need improving.  I would like to see more people involved with the community and with their neighbors.  I want to see activities for both the young and the old, like block parties, cookouts, and other gatherings that will put faces with the names.  The yard sales that happen semi-annually currently are the only events that have neighbors walking around and greeting each other.  We need more opportunities like that.  I will be working with other council members to make sure that we do at least one quarterly function for residents.

I retired from AT&T in 1996.  Since then, I keep busy with relatives and friends.  I enjoy travelling and love eating out at new places.  I also like movies, old or new, and would like to see Lynnview do a monthly MOVIE NIGHT in the Community Center.  I attend St Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church.

I look forward to working with you in the coming months and years.  Together we can make Lynnview fun as well as home!
